William Dean Katzelis serves as Vice President, Wealth Management at Clarity Capital Partners.

Dean Katzelis’ career in the financial industry spans over 35 years and across not only Investment Management but the securities and futures markets. As a professional Commodity Trading Advisor (CTA), his practice focuses on the changing and evolving markets which allows him to assist in meeting client’s needs and goals.

Mr. Katzelis holds the belief that in the business of money and investing, experience is the best teacher. He broke into the financial world in 1987, and has experienced many market cycles throughout his career, including: The crash of 1987; Desert Shield and Desert Storm; The dot com crash of 2000-2002 and the Great recession of 2008. That experience helps him guide clients through difficult markets with a knowledgeable, experience-based perspective.

Dean has a robust knowledge of the complexities of the markets. Throughout his career, client service has been of the utmost importance and the cornerstone of his business. Nothing is more important to him than his relationship with his clients.

Dean graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of La Verne in 1979 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Education. He played four years of basketball at La Verne and carried that passion forward in coaching his sons, his daughters and grandson. Dean is a huge NBA fan who enjoys attending Lakers and Clippers games. He resides in Fallbrook with his wife of 25 years, Regina. Their Christian faith is the foundation of their life. They enjoy spending time with their five adult children and five precious grandchildren.

Dean is registered with a Series 65 license as an Investment Advisor Representative with Clarity Capital Partners, LLC. He also holds Series 3 and 30 futures licenses with Essex Capital Management LLC, High Ridge Futures LLC and Powercore Management LLC where his roles include CTA, Introducing Broker (IB) Branch Manager and CPO Branch Manager.
